In fact this was a homework assignment that went out of control. My prof. Van Holten wanted to try out a new lab exercise in flight mechanics with a few volunteers. We had to make a simple program that integrated the equations of motion of an aircraft in order to simulate some flight trajectories. I thought it was a nice idea to turn the program into a flight simulator.
